Closing ‘vast’ gender gap, ending child marriage key priorities, Ghanaian President tells UN

Adolescent girls in Ghana are joining ‪#‎MyLifeAt15‬ campaign, thanks to our member Youth Harvest Foundation Ghana & Friends and Girls Not Brides Ghana. According to UNICEF, 21% of girls in Ghana are married before the age of 18.
Only last week, the country's President told the United Nations that ending child marriage should be a priority if we want to achieve gender equality. He also announced the launch of a national campaign on child marriage in partnership with UNICEF Ghana.
